Do you provide free quotations?
Yes. Precision Floor Care offers free no-obligation quotations. You can send photographs by WhatsApp or email for initial advice.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Elland, Halifax and cover Calderdale, Huddersfield, Brighouse, Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, wider West Yorkshire and selected projects further across Yorkshire and the North West.
Are you insured?
Yes. Precision Floor Care is fully insured for domestic and commercial floor restoration work.
Are you DBS checked?
Yes. Enhanced DBS checks are held, providing additional reassurance for homes, schools, care settings and sensitive environments.
Wood Floor Sanding
How much does floor sanding cost?
Every floor is different. Price depends on size, condition, repairs, access and the finish selected.
How long does floor sanding take?
Most domestic wood floor sanding projects take one to three days depending on the floor size, preparation and finish system.
Is floor sanding dusty?
Professional sanding and extraction systems capture the vast majority of dust, although no sanding process can be completely dust-free.
What is better, oil or lacquer?
Both have advantages. Lacquer gives a durable surface layer, while oil gives a more natural appearance and can be easier to maintain locally.
Parquet & Herringbone
Can parquet flooring be restored?
Yes. Parquet and herringbone floors can often be sanded, repaired and refinished to bring back pattern, colour and depth.
Can loose parquet blocks be repaired?
Loose or damaged blocks can often be lifted, cleaned, re-bonded or replaced before sanding and finishing.
Victorian Tile Restoration
Can Victorian tiles be restored?
In many cases yes. Specialist cleaning, restoration and sealing can reveal colours and patterns hidden beneath years of dirt and old coatings.
Can old wax and sealers be removed?
Often yes. Old wax, polish and sealer build-up can usually be stripped back using the correct products and process.
Do you restore quarry tiles?
Yes. Quarry tiles can be deep cleaned, restored and sealed to improve colour, finish and protection.
Natural Stone Restoration
Can natural stone floors be restored?
Yes. Many natural stone floors can be cleaned, honed, polished and sealed to improve appearance and protection.
Can marble floors be polished?
Yes. Marble polishing can restore clarity, reflection and a premium finish.
Do you restore slate floors?
Yes. Slate can be deep cleaned and sealed to enhance colour and make the floor easier to maintain.
Tile & Grout Cleaning
Can grout lines really be cleaned?
Yes. Professional tile and grout cleaning removes built-up dirt, grease and contamination that normal mopping often leaves behind.
Do you clean bathroom and kitchen tiles?
Yes. We clean bathroom, kitchen, hallway and commercial tiled floors.
Can grout be sealed after cleaning?
Where suitable, sealing can be recommended to help protect grout lines after cleaning.

Do you undertake commercial projects?
Yes. Precision Floor Care works on schools, hospitality venues, retail spaces, heritage buildings, workplaces and public-facing environments.
Can you work outside business hours?
Where required, commercial work can be planned around opening times and operational requirements.
Can you handle large areas?
Yes. Previous work has included commercial floor restoration exceeding 500m².
