Worn School Sports Hall Restored - Saving the Cost of Replacement.
Years of heavy use had left this school sports hall floor badly worn, tired and looking as though it had reached the end of its life. The school had received a quotation of approximately £50,000 to replace the flooring. Instead of replacing it, the existing timber floor was professionally sanded back, carefully prepared and refinished with a durable protective lacquer system. The result was a dramatic transformation, restoring the appearance of the original timber and leaving the sports hall looking as good as new — at a fraction of the cost of replacement.
